Our mission at Eastville Baptist Church is to equip each other with the light of Christ so we can show it to those around us. Here at EBC, we are dedicated to the good news of Jesus Christ as seen in the unfolding story of the Bible. We warmly welcome you to experience it here with us, responding to God as He reveals Himself in His Word. Rather than hoarding the grace He's shown us, we want to bless our community with it. We seek to be a shelter for the hurting and a loving presence to those in need. Through the Scriptures and these tangible efforts, we hope you will glimpse the justice, mercy, beauty, and heart of the incredible God who redeems us!
Meet the Pastor
Tom Thomasson has accepted the position of interim pastor. He has been serving God's Kingdom for over 30 years. He is married to Teresa for 28 years, and has a 15 year old daughter named Ripley. In the past 3 decades, Tom has actively served in various ministries at three dynamic churches; both vocationally and as lay leader. The last 25 years, Tom has worked at Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. as a Logistics Analyst while serving as Music Director, Youth Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Small Groups Pastor. The last 11 years, he has partnered with The Bridge Network of Churches to help churches with pulpit supply and has served as interim pastor at 2 other churches.
